For L4D(2) is not an easy task, check here.

The video you linked is showcasing a particles plugin, which compared to Trials Chroma is a completely different type of plugin.

I actually wrote a particles plugin like that, but I'm currently selling it privately with around 100 new particle effects, so if you're interested, just DM me.

Yes, after map change the trails are disabled, even though players had them enabled before...

how to get out of admin mode? and leave the public?
!trails only works for admin?

I did that, but every time I start the game I have to activate it in the console?
