You probably need to forward you ports to your computer. Most modern "modems" ar routers.

That's because you are connecting to it through LAN. You are not leaving the house (to the internet) to connect to your server. I know because I have my own standalone dedicated server and I had to figure that out the hard way .

Have you had a friend try to connect to your server with IP:Port (from outside your house)?

he have to try that in console like:

connect IP : PORT


not on follow u over steam. this way u are local connected and steam know that so shows steam ur local IP instead of ur ISP IP
