Could someone explain the story behind AMX Mod and how it got in Flatounet's control?
Is amxmod.net still being managed by that mentally ill toxic guy who had left back-doors in the core modules?
Furthermore, who is this OLO? I see this name often but I'm unable to find anything about him/her.

I read somewhere long ago that he abandoned it, or more likely tried getting rid of it, but I'm not sure why.

It's a sad story. An old developer which helped making of amx which now your(not u personally) ass can play globally online vs all amxx members. Yeah I feel sad bout him

I never knew AMX/AMXX was a game which we could play online globally.

Anyways, I don't feel sad for him, and nobody should. He didn't get hate for nothing. What I don't get is why he still continues to update his add-on when nobody even uses it.

Because he can do it? What I would like to know is what features amx plugins have over amxx ones. He keeps talking about that without saying exactly what is added.

Even if you can do something, you must have a reason to do it, and I don't see what motivates him to do what he's doing.

This guy.. He asks everyone that has an active running AMX server to give him the server IP, so he can take it over, LOL. Sad that there's still people who support him.

there must be a feeling of revolt that stimulated him to recreate AMX, if it had happened until 2007, I believe he still had a real reason to do so, but it happened in 2016, when 1.6 was already in decline, he this is about 10 years late on time.
