I am having 2 very strange issues with logging...

- The main sourcemod log files in ../addons/sourcemod/logs/ folder are not being created, at all
- The log files for my plugins are created, but the files are empty (0 bytes)

The last "valid" logs were 2 days ago. I am running the latest SM (1.9 - build 624 on Linux. Please note that my user:group permissions are correct and have not changed when SM logging was working. The server itself is logging correctly to the ../logs/ folder and sv_log, etc, is enabled. Again, this appears to be some weird thing going on only with SourceMod at the moment.

The one thing I haven't tried is a server restart yet which I plan on doing as soon as player count is low since this issue is only affecting logging. Hopefully that will fix it.

Any ideas what my be causing this in the meantime?

See if you have a sourcemod-fatal log file in the gamedir or root of the server.

Thanks asherkin, that's a negative on that. I even did a server-wide search for it and didn't find any log files with that name. I am also hosting another game server on the same machine, and it was logging fine while this was happening (same user:group root folder, but installed to a different subfolder). I did get a chance to restart the game server having the problem and as soon as it was rebooted, all logging resumed normally.

Very odd, not sure what caused this to happen, first time I've seen it in the 2 years running this server. Hopefully it doesn't continue, however, If I do see anything at all I will be sure to report back here.

What version of SM are you running? (the full output of `sm version` would be best)

Looks like I am running an earlier version of 1.9.0, apologies for my original post stating otherwise. Here is my output of 'sm version', seeing the date as well, would you recommend an update?

This sounds like the same mystery as https://github.com/alliedmodders/sourcemod/issues/663.
