Why do I have to be registered to see the FAQ?

Personally, I don't like websites with a commercial orientation (selling webspace).

But the idea is nice, you should sponsor avalanche ;).

Hmm, you should be able to see the FAQ without registering. It is set to public.
I have already spoken to Avalanche about sponsoring his site. =)

As far as the commercial orientation, it is not necessary to purchase anything from GunGame.Org. We offer fast downloads access for a fee. I do this at a very low price and make nothing off of the service after I pay for web space and bandwidth. I have 2 sponsors myself. Their banners rotate on the home page. If you don't like them, don't click them. If you want to check out their services, then you are more than welcome to visit them.

I am not trying to make anything off of GunGame.Org. If it will just break even, then I will be happy. If not I will continue to pay for it out of my own pocket. I am sorry you feel it has a "commercial orientation." Look at Allied Modders. They have a sponsor also, Nuclear Fallout. A great server provider. They help pay the bills, but I bet Bailopan and others here have shelled out some of their own dollars into this also. As do I with GunGame.Org.

If selling fastdownloads is not taken very well by the GunGame Community, I may take that service down completely. Either way GunGame.Org will remain free for the the Gun Game Community.

Ok, thanks. Actually, it was just that the activiation page did not exist, like the url it sent me was wrong.

OK, I tested it and it seems to be working fine for me.
There is also a "code" sent in the email that you can use if the link does not work. Hopefully no one else has this trouble, but if they do they can use that code it sends.
