It's quite unfortunate that Valve would release an update without consulting with the plugin makers of one of the most popular add-ons, especially after such a significant code change. They give us santa hats in lieu of working third-party plugins.

...unless that was their secret plan: "spend your Christmas with your family and not playing CS:GO" (I know, if they didn't want us playing, they'd take down the authentication servers).

Fortunately, at least it seems the MM & SM developers are going to fix this issue. Much better than a depreciated inactive add-on that never has hope of being fixed. So much kudos and thanks to all the developers who make these add-ons possible! (And that spend countless hours doing unplanned break-fix.)

Merry Christmas to *!*@* as well.

1.10.0-hg814.tar.gz and 1.9.2-hg807.tar.gz
crash linux CSGO server vers. 24/12/2012 :

" terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::bad_alloc' "

sourcemod not guilty, fails when you run a clean server + last metamod, without metamod normally starts

Is valve completely autistic?

Releasing an update with a major change (as Zephyrus said) would automatically make Metamod crashed.
But, they haven't think just a second that the majority of CS:Go servers run Metamod.

What's the result? The 3/4 of the servers are offline.

Good job Valve, keeping autistic and no sharing with plugins makers is definitely the good way ;)

(I'm so sad, me and my team wanted to launch our CS:Go server tomorrow night...)
