firstly: this is not an advertisement, I don't care about Mobogenie software, website or owners. if they may be rich or if they go bankrupt. I only want to share this nice feature for android smartphone users.

what's Mobogenie.com ?
a new software that I noticed two weeks ago, it's really in a lot of known and trusted web sites like gamebanana.com.
but I was a bit indecisive about to make a thread about it. the problem was that I didn't find anything about it in wikipedia, and its own android application (.apk) which can be downloaded via the software itself, didn't exist in google store... until today (I started writing this this in october 16 2013, and fall asleep after midnight).
it can be downloaded in its own website, or in any other known websites, where we can find its advertisement window. actually, it's only supporting windows for PCs, and is used to manage Android smartphones.
why should you use it ?
I remember when I bought my first smartphone, and tested some stupid apps. I noticed later that all those useless apps were stuck in my google account, the play store section -.-
now, I really hate to download something from google store, especially when there are too many similar apps about the same topic as the old phone dialler apps. there is no way to know which one is nice and which one is redundant.
the solution ?
  • Mobogenie has a very big archive of Android applications (.apk), it downloads them as .apk extentions, without using your google account.
the advantage ?
you can try, share any free application you want, without being limited by the google account connection.
  • you can download apps, even if your phone isn't connected to your pc.
  • Mobogenie has other features, like to manage your phone contacts, and other off-topic stuff.
how to use it ?

after installing it. when connecting your phone for the first time, Mobogenie needs to download some drivers and to be syncronised with the phone.
you also need to activate the following feature in your phone:
  • go to: settings > developer options > search for usb debugging and enable it.
  • in my older phone I had to enable another feature: unknown sources. it's to allow your phone to accept application which are not from the official google store, in other words to make your phone accepting .apk files.

May be nice for testing purposes.
But for me it is not useful, I prefer the Play Store.

ok, then follow my logic..
  1. you want to buy a very nice application, it's new and you didn't see it in other smartphones. you can try it's free version before to decide !
  2. you want to install some nice old phone dialler and ringer apps, will you try everything from google store, and getting more than 50 useless apps stuck in your account, for ever ? isn't better than to make another google account used only for tests ?

1. I can test free versions with Play Store too.
2. You can remove them.

Unassigned 3rd party APPs out of play store?

Sounds pretty reliable to me

The bots posting about free iPhones doesn't care either.
This is basically advertising space, which should be payed for.

those bots are selling their phones, or advertising their websites. so, I don't give a shit about Mobogenie, I only wanted to share my personal experience about a free software.
if you think that my thread is against the internal rules then feel free to report it, and I will accept it if it's really an advertisement !

I have only found a way to do it from a phone
Play Store > My Apps > All > Click the X on the app to remove it from your account (app must not be installed on your phone already)

Great ! thanks a lot.

now, I'm searching for how to delete your old devices from your account, and only found how to hide them. but it's not as annoying as the spamming apps, which are fixed now !
