Doesnt seem to work. I obtained all the models name/path by extracting the vpk and put them in the txt file. It just spawn a big "ERROR" placeholder model instead. Or maybe I'm doing it wrong.

you could try using a few different combinations of the relative paths you extracted from the vpk. Cant see why it wouldnt work but anythings possible.

Finally it does work

Code:
        "bucket1" "models/props_junk/metalbucket01a.mdl"
        "f18" "models/f18/f18.mdl"
F18 spawns but bucket1 doesnt. Is there any properties that limits a model from being spawned ?

Edit: They work fine now. I havent read properly and tried to use the alias/modelname of the models in the console command so of course it didnt work.

One more issue is the hats seem to be attached to player's feet (floor level) in L4D2

Haven't peeked if I have a modelfun.txt yet where it should be.
Tried a particle hat on someone,...the paper worked for me in L4D
I got many repetitive errors of this

C_OP_RenderSprites::RenderUnsorted: Attempting to use an unimplemented sprite renderer for system "paper_streets"!

(might have been conflict because I am using l4d_painter
sm_l4d_painter_render_mode "0" to be able to make my tanks green not sure)

The ordinary hat only gave me like 6 hl2 choices when I put it on a player
big red error thing was on him.

I havent exposed the particle hat functions as natives like i did with the model hat functions.
I was going to do that but for some reason i didnt think it would work..but i cant recall.
Perhaps when im feeling motivated i can revisit it.

EDIT: Oh if your interesting in helping me test, that would make it a lot easier.
