Hello, I have a server which runs on Linux and it has the "admin free look" plugin, but it has a bug which makes all admins to appear as spectators in chat. I tried the official module but it has some minor bugs, so I wont use it.

Alright, here is the request:
Change ONLY the text "*SPEC*" to "*DEAD". Not the color, not anything else. I mean, when the admin is terrorist, the color of the chat must be red and CT - blue.

This should do the trick. Admins chat text will be the same color as the team he is on, and the player will be displayed as *DEAD* instead of *SPEC*

The admins will apear just like the other players, right? I mean, there will be no differences between an admin and a player in the chat? That's what I search for. Thanks.

You want the admins chat text color to look like a normal players? Check the attachment on this post.

Thanks, I went testing it, but it gave me the following error:

I put "chatcolor.inc" in \cstrike\addons\amxmodx\scripting\include and then compiled the plugin without problems - no effect, it keeps showing that error in server console.

@dark, the module didn't work like the plugin, it gave some errors, that was long time ago, even I commented it with "; not working - gives errors".

You need to put colorchat.amxx into the plugins folder, and in the plugins.ini

OK. I tested it. say_team: (Spectator); say: *DEAD*. Look what i have.
And another thing. When i'm using chat in game say_team works fine but typing say: no message appears.
