Hey all, is there a way I can get this onto a server im renting from a 3rd party? (Gameservers) - Ever since the last l4d2 update, Spirit's version doesnt work, and I am unsure of how I would be able to compile this version onto my server... And I did ask for help in their support, but they were unable to assist since it was not a plugin.

1. Put "l4d2_tickrate_enabler.txt" to gamedata folder
2. Compile yourself or download attached .smx and put it to plugins folder
3. Start server
4. Open config "\left4dead2\cfg\sourcemod\l4d2_tickrate_enab ler.cfg" and change tickrate convar to your value.
5. Restart server or change map

I don't know what other versions you are talking about except for extension.
It works almost the same way as extension does but the second changes tickrate in more native way.

On the other side i can't tell if extension and plugin will give you same result.
That's up to you if you find any issues with this plugin i would be glad to fix or atleast notify others about them.

i was use this long time without set game param -tickrate xx, today i finnaly known how set tickrate properly.
so this plugin auto set scale the annoying param for we, just set game param and nb_update_frequency,
