I doubt this could actually considered 'slow hacking' if it doesn't persist after leaving the server (as the poster states) and it doesn't change in-game or game-play settings. On the surface, I don't see how its any different than an MOTD.

Sorry, I don't know how its done. But I would also like a better explanation from other responders as to WHY they think its slow hacking, rather than just alleging that its.

Because just changing the loading banner (which is reserved for Valve) requires slowhacking. Him claiming that it didn't persist after leaving the server was probably over looked by most as this person's requests usually get the same answer.

If only for respect for the valve, what about a plugin that can see the valve has an advertisement on and if not then I can not see anything wrong with changing the loading banner. Just switching on the valves advertising when they have something other than a black banner.
