It doesn't matter if the nav doesn't download, as it's not required by the client. It doesn't even speed up load time, you just see the last failed file as loading finishes. This extension is cosmetic only.

I wouldn't say that. You're potentially preventing a bunch of unnecessary HTTP 404 responses or wasted bandwidth on distributing unnecessary nav files.

Please no one say to just serve blank .nav files. I find that even worse than just letting the HTTP requests fail.

You're talking in milliseconds here, and since it's for just one file (you can't have more than one nav file) it doesn't matter. A 50-100 ms response time to a 404d get on a file is insignificant.

It's okay what are you saying Friagram, but, for example, when my Fast download is down for X reason (attacks or maybe maintenance) the "downloading .nav" file takes A LOT time, because it's like the game is trying to download it but because it can't, it keeps sending request to the page, and when i say alot of time i mean, around 15, 20 seconds so it would be really useful to block it totally.

And, if i go and see my fast download page, the error log, i see everything filled with "missing file missing file" so this extension is really useful.

I hope the creator of this extension fix it so it works correctly

Here you go, I can confirm the Windows version blocks .nav files from being downloaded. I borrowed the Linux version from the OP and can only confirm that it loads.

I tried compiling a Linux bin but I kept running into this error:

Code:
undefined symbol: Msg
I'm always interested in knowing what I forgot to include. In any case... Enjoy!
