    This is an item and event drop system for the special infected player deaths. When the special infected die, a randint is generated to determine whether an item or an event occurs. As in previous versions of the plugin, this is completely configurable.

    Thraka has handed development of this plugin over to me. See below for a full list of new features.

    If you have any requests on features you'd like to see, let me know. I'm in the process of making the configuration as configurable as possible for server admins.

    By default, all item and event drops are rolled from die 1, which has been modified to be 50 sides, though it is still completely configurable and all 4 die are still available. The Convars listed below are the default values.

    the loot drop values are different for each class by default.
    For example, only the tank drops a chainsaw, and the tank drops more items than the witch, who drops more items than the standard infected.

    Great plugin, deployed it on my server and it worked very nicely. The only thing I didn't like was how much stuff it spawned. I went through the list and modified it to my likings (made it so loot dropping was very low since I have fast respawn on the infected). There were a few comments I have though:

    1) I would like to have the zombies spawn ahead/behind the group so that they don't randomly appear out of thin air
    2) The witch seems to spawn in the same place so I came around a corner and got him by two at the same time, would like their spawn to be at random spots on the map
    3) Would it be possible to add a convar that would allow X amount of random items dropped at the start of a map?

    Other than that everything else is good. I'll be putting it through the ringer for a while to give you any more feedback.


    EDIT:

    Even after changing the CFG file the plugin created it had no effect, I was still getting the same amount of items and items that were defaults in the program. I tried putting the information directly into my server.cfg but the same thing happened.

    The commons that spawn, spawn on location of the player where they died. That's how it was originally designed. To spawn it elsewhere would most likely be best suited for another plugin.

    The witch spawns are random, we've been testing this on my 18 slot server for the last few weeks. The witch spawns that don't change are the spawns that the game put there before the loot places its witches.

    The plugin doesn't work with the items that are dropped at the start of the map in the safe room. It works only with that of special infected killed, not item spawn placements.

    If you edit the loot config in the cfg/sourcemod folder, changing those settings will affect the in-game spawn populations. If it isn't working, I'll look into it in another version as I am constantly updating this plugin.

    As for the statements above, those changes would best be suited for another plugin as several of them are not loot oriented.

    I had edited the loot config in the sourcemod folder but whenever it rolled it was still showing the defaults the program created.

    I would really like to use this plugin, let me know if any else is having this issue or if it's something server side for me.

    The default config makes there is so many loot, it's little unbalanced in versus and scavenge!

    I'll get a new version uploaded later today that fixes the config file error. The servers my organization runs, runs a modified version of this loot system, re-coded from the ground up, and the infected still whoopass!

    Thraka hasn't abandoned his Infected Loot mod, so perhaps you should work with him in merging this with his? The moderators seem to reject cloned mods.

    This mod is good and well done but i have a request. I try to make the hardest server there is and the tank,witch,horde mod with in this mod makes it possible to be a hard server but the loot kills the hardness. So my request is to make a separate plug-in that just has the tank,witch,horde mod and not the loot in it, because i like the constant spawning of the witches. And if you do this can you make the Convars to save so i don't have to change them when server changes campaign or after 2 level restarts.
