I was wondering how to go about retrieving information from steam stats. I'm trying to pull class experience for Nuclear Dawn preferably using the SteamWorks extension. More info here.

In sourcemod? I've done this only in php. So only players who meets the criteria can join the server.

Yeah, i'm trying to figure out how to cache player class experience from steam stats to a variable, so it can be used for various useful purposes. A more dynamic method than this is required; as it will need to be used for multiple formula-based purposes and also as a server join restriction. I would like to pass it off to other plug-ins as a native integer, but have no clue how to get the values.

It looks like you found a solution in that thread you linked, but I suspect using the steamstats HTTP api won't give you stats for players with private profiles. You may have to (and probably should anyway) use the stats natives in the SteamWorks ext. They poll data over the Steam connection rather than HTTP and should have access to stats for any player currently in the server, whether or not profile is private.
