Sorry for the awful bump, but reading this and thinking to myself really made me wonder if you are aware of our Freak Fortress 2 server and the overall work I put in it's SVN; I even had to make my own ability subplugin script which I never expected to happen. Where time goes on things change and people improve, these bosses were from when Freak Fortress 2 was growing and people just started creating bosses. But feel free to keep thinking that I cannot do anything better. It's not like you will ever get anything of it though.

I am never intending to do so. I am pleasing the audience that I actually want to please with my custom additions to our Freak Fortress 2 server and I am never willing to make any of that public.

Why would I need anything of it? I have over 30 freaks on my ff2 server, each with custom abilities. We also run custom versions of ff2. I have also released many ff2 fixes, many which have been added to the newer versions (which I didn't have to share), as well as a few subplugins.

On a similar note, Ravensbro and myself were planning on releasing some new community bosses along with new abilities for this halloween. If anyone would like to contribute (rigging models or writing some abilities) feel free to let us know. If you have the ability/are able.

So far ~3 models are done, and one ability pack. I'll be trying to finish up two more ability packs and another model in the next day or two.

Once released, feel free to use them, learn from the scripts, perhaps develop/release more community bosses and ability packs (that is our ultimate goal). All of this hoarding nonsense really benefits nobody.

I worked with Ravensbro last year when we released a dozen Halloween bosses (he did the models) I don't mind being involved with it again this year

I had the privilege of seeing some of these bosses when I helped Friagram to test some of their models, rages, and abilities. They're not cookie-cutter recycles of existing Bosses/Rages using stock FF2 sub-plugins. They're all reliant on FF2 sub-plugins that Friagram has custom coded himself from scratch. I don't know if Friagram would want me to reveal anything about these Bosses before Halloween, but the rages themselves are all themed after the characters and any fans of the movies/games they're based on are going to flip out when they see them for the first time! There are FF2 communities out there that have commissioned professionals here on Allied Modders to create bosses that are not even half as complex as some of the things that I've seen Friagram get working for one ability. I'm actually looking forward more to his FF2 boss pack than anything Valve might have planned.
