I don't see how macro software would cause this, macros simply reassign/fire kb/m keys, even if you make it execute the fire key a thousand times a second it will only fire as many times as the game allows, it is simply pressing/unpressing your keys in rapid succession, basically it wont press a key more times than physically possible or allowed by the hardware

Macros can trigger Auto-Fire detection, I've tested it.
Although someone would call it cheating anyway, which it kinda is.
