If you have everything installed right, and updated you will not have this error.

It tells you how to fix the error "check your modules.ini" You need to make sure of what I siad in the first reply, if you do have everything setup, you wouldnt be gettting this message.

i placed the 1.8 instead the 1.7 version in my server.... i need to do something else?

how did u upgrade?
Its easiest to DL the full installer, then run the .exe thats extracted to your desktop, and install via FTP (if u know your FTP details)
Also: it will ask if u wanna "upgrade, overwrite all, or cancel"
Choose "upgrade" (which i believe is "no")

SOLVED! thanks guys... my problem was the updating part... I didnt know i have to extract the AMXX Base....
