Whenever I restart my server or change the map, admins.cfg changes to this:

"Admins"
{
}

I have re-extracted the admins.cfg and the databases.cfg to the configs directory, reapplied my admins and changes, and it still occurs. Does anyone know how to solve this?

The only SourceMod plugin I have other than default is SourceBans 1.4.8 and this SourceMod installation is running off a Garry's Mod Trouble in Terrorist Town server.

Sourcebans is whiping it clean every mapchange

Try disable admin rehashing in your sourcebans settings page

It sounds like you didn't do the Sourcebans configuration correctly. Did you set the correct server id in the config and assign all the admins to that server?

admins_simple.ini works, but I would prefer to use admins.cfg.

I'm in Settings and I see now option for "Admin Rehashing".

EDIT: Of course I see the "Enable Admin Rehashing" feature in the "Features" section right after posting, ironic.

I had this same problem. The way I fixed it was go to "/left4dead2/addons/sourcemod/configs/sourcebans/sourcebans.cfg" and change "BackupConfigs" from 1 to 0.

Alright, done. Turning off Admin Rehashing did not solve the problem.
