I saw this in your to do:
Add a separate config file.

I've added:

    AutoExecConfig(true, "l4d2_WeaponUnlock");
to the end of the public OnPluginStart() section of l4d2_WeaponUnlock.sp before the last }. Then compiled. This will auto-generated a l4d2_WeaponUnlock.cfg file in cfg\sourcemod.

Ok I am new to this stuff, do I need to create my own cfg file to put in (left4dead2\left4dead2\cfg\sourcemod) folder cause putting in the smx file and restarting it didn't create one, if so what exactly do i need to do and how.

That's the issue I'm running into with the knives and the bats: In order to enable them you have to make changes to the files. There's no way this can be done (that I can see) with just a plug-in. I'm thinking of putting something together for that, but I want to fix the bugs and add the features I've got planned before spending time with that.

Hey Crimson, excellent mod.

I have a request if it hasn't been asked for yet.

Would it be possible to add additional damage to all other weapons not just the AWP/Scout? That would make this mod godlike.

This plugin is epic! I just wish that someone would now add custom hi-def skins for these default models.

The mp5 is the worst, Valve has this habit of only texturing parts of levels and models that will be seen. I see a ton of default weapon models for CSS like the mp5 where someone has gone and textured the missing parts on the guns. When you melee with the mp5 you can see that the stock is only rendered where it shows up on screen when you are idle. when you melee you can see that it's cut off, and when you relaod you can tell that half the gun is missing on the right side. I'm just a stickler for detail. These guns are fun but I think valve would have done a better job of updating the textures.

Thanks for the great mod, any one up for it texture these things, if it's possible.

I agree, when compared to the stock l4d2 weapons the css models really show their age.

Hello!

I just tried this plugin. I went to the end-saferoom on c2m1_highway, and there was an mp5. But i was not able to pick it up... standard weapons was good. Is it a conflict?
