Cant understand why this thread is abandoned.. SRSmod is one of the musthave plugins and it doesnt work since last updates. Now it is 2.1.3.4 version of L4D2 and i am totally not able to solve this on any of latest SourceMod + MetaMod versions

gamedata file is on its place, but seems to be broken by valve updates. I need srsmod so badly

I've updated the signatures and put them up in the repo: http://srsmod.googlecode.com/hg-hist...ata/srsmod.txt

Also the downloads now contain the new gamedata, for all the 3 people who need it

Thanks for your fast answer.
With this new gamedata my server crashes on startup. "C++ runtime error. Pure virtual function call".
Without srsmain.smx all works just fine. If it is needed, I am ready for feedbacks and testing. As I dont know, how people can handle l4d2 with ugly default scoring system and item placement :\

P.S. I run Win7 x64

I still play l4d2 and run a server using srsmod. As Laxale mentioned, it's a must have plugin. Thanks for making it AtomicStryker, and for still being around to support it.

I'm using Metamod:Source version 1.10.0-dev and SourceMod Version: 1.5.3-dev+3954 and I don't receive any errors from using srsmod (1.9 stable without the new gamedata file). Maybe that's helpful to someone?

Here we go when srsmod is presented in plugins folder:

L 01/03/2014 - 21:41:27: SourceMod error session started
L 01/03/2014 - 21:41:27: Info (map "c5m1_waterfront") (file "errors_20140103.log")
L 01/03/2014 - 21:41:27: [LEFT4DOWNTOWN] Detour -- Could not find DifficultyChanged signature
L 01/03/2014 - 21:41:27: [LEFT4DOWNTOWN] Detour -- Could not find address for detour
Now lets delete srsmain.smx:
Quote:
L 01/03/2014 - 219:57: SourceMod error session started
L 01/03/2014 - 219:57: Info (map "c5m1_waterfront") (file "errors_20140103.log")
L 01/03/2014 - 219:57: [LEFT4DOWNTOWN] Detour -- Could not find DifficultyChanged signature
L 01/03/2014 - 219:57: [LEFT4DOWNTOWN] Detour -- Could not find address for detour
L 01/03/2014 - 21:40:02: Error log file session closed.
The only differency is that server works fine without srsmod. And crashes on startup with message "Visual C++ runtime error! R6025 - pure virtual function call" when srsmod is enabled.
All the plugins requiring Left4Downtown2 also run normally. I use latest MM 1.10.1 and SM 1.6.0. Any other snapshots doesnt change anything for me. Srsmod still not working

Have you tried running the "stable" smx as roywheels reports working

Sure. If I use the old downloaded stable version - plugin just not loading as old gamedata is broken. Then I update signatures with file you have provided. And.. server crashes with no logs of srsmod errors (only Left4Downtown errors). Now I download your hole updated .zip. And nothing changes. Finally compiled plugin by myself - zero result :/

Then deleted all the plugins except srsmod - stil crashing. Dunno. May be I should reinstall a clean server

You posted your error logfiles, what i'd like to see aswell is the "normal" logfile prior to a crash
