Hello,
I have done a few searchs on this forum and found that people have had a similar problem to me and been directed to this sticky. I did everything that was on the sticky

but still are having the same problem.

I am trying to get AMX X Mod to work on my CS 1.6 listen server so I can just play some lan games. My problem is, when I press "start server" I get a fews bars up on creating local server then my computer freezes. Sometimes, after I restart, HL causes an ileagle operation. I'm new to getting it to work on 1.6 sorry if I sound noobish. I got it to work perfectly on 1.5 just 1.6 isn't co operating. Can anyone give me some suggestions to resolving this please?

try to start with amxx but without any plugins

Listen Servers aren't very stable. They are just really ment for Single Player things. use HLDS if you want to go Multi. I used to use a listen server . they suck ass!

I only have a small amount of pc's all of which need to be used so I can't really sacrifice one as a dedicated one.

I commented out all the plugins and still the same thing.

I'll try and see if amxx will work on one of my other comps for a listen server.
