Hello everyone,
as this is my first post/suggestion please do not be too angry if it does not meet the normal standard. In addition to that, I´m from Germany so please ignore some minor spelling errors.

Here is my plugin suggestion:

add-to-favorites plugin

Normally it is rather complicated to add the server you are currently playing on to your favorite list in steam. Therefore I suggest that a plugin makes it more easier:

The client only has to type "favorite" or "!favorite" into the chat area to automatically add the server he/she is playing on to the favorite list.


To be honest I don´t have a clue how to script it. Therefore I´m asking the more talented guys if they like the idea and want to transform it into reality.

em, I do not have a clue how to do this too. I am not really sure how somebody could manipulate the steam-favorites from within the game.

Steam favorites are stored client-side, nested within the Steam directory. It's not possible with SM.

as a matter of fact I would not like this to work - because the same funtionality could be misused to spam someones favourites-list without the users permission.

Or add another server to his favorite automaticly, anyone can make this plugin?
