So... I am new to SM and I am now working on a brand new project, but I want to do a ban system like CS:GO default's MM or FaceIT for banning but I have no idea how to do it :/

Things I've acomplished so far:

• Getting Client SteamID:

  GetClientAuthId(pClient, AuthId_Steam2, pSteamID, sizeof(pSteamID));

• Creating a DataTimer inside the disconnect event:

  CreateDataTimer(300.0, TMR_BANNING, pClient, TIMER_REPEAT | TIMER_FLAG_NO_MAPCHANGE);

Things I want to add:

• Chat messages every minute till the player gets banned (5 mins)
• Checking if the time is 0 so I can ban him
• Storing info in a DB so I can ban him from the website

I belive tk_punish does something similar, however it's stored by the server.

Have you checked sourcebans++?

People told me to check SB++ but what do I have to check in there? Also I will look into "tk_punish"
