Hello,
I would like to know how I can manually restore money for specific players or give a certain amount to a new player joining (i.e. a stand-in)

I searched a lot on the web but I didn't find any helpful information.

Do I need a plugin to do that?

OR csgo stores round data to txt files and that can be used as a restore points - no plugin needed.

I see, but I'm looking for a solution to do it without sourcemod.

Don't get me wrong, but I prefer running a competitve server as clean as possible (only CSay)

That seems to work to restore money but I'd like to know how I can set the exact amount of money one player had for a stand-in?


For example:

A isconnected while he had 3200$, the team decides to use player B as stand-in.
When B joins on the server he gets the default 800$ but I would like to give him the 3200$ A had before.

As I see it - you have two options.

1) Use the built-in stuff as explained above.

2) Use additional server plugins (e.g. "sourcemod").


Since you just said that 1) doesn't suit your demands completely, there may only be one way remaining in order to accomplish your goal 100%.

Pretty obvious, that way would be 2).

Your wishes is probably (and unfortunately) too advanced for 1)..
