We have converted from daltos old plugin to your revamped version and I can honestly say its working 100% better with the fixes; however, it would be nice to see the old melee sounds added back to the mix.

Just tested this plugin on our brand new css gungame5 server. It isn't really working perfectly because the sounds are played but no text messages to anyone even when i set "config" to 9. Translation file is present. No error logs

I guess i did something wrong, can't tell what exatly because there are no error logs. Maybe it's conflicted with hlstatsx or the gungame5 mod, i've no idea.

Some of the non utf8 letters are currupted after downloading the plugin.quakesounds.txt, i've changed them or replaced the messages with the english text. So far without any luck displaying the text messages.

Any ideas?

HLStatsX shouldn't conflict with it, and GG5 probably shouldn't either. Can you post a copy of your config here?

I was wondering since the Domination and Revenge are triggered now can a sound set be configured for them instead of using for example killsound 4 for "Is Dominating" To set a sound just for them alone and add another sound for kill 4?

hello
ive installed this plugin on a hl2dm server. the problem is that the plugin doesnt work correctly while running mp_teamplay 0. the plugin responds to /quake messages and the options work, but there are no sounds. when switching to mp_teamplay 1 everything works.
can someone help me solve the problem?

may be "fire-bursts/quake/....mp3" is too long name, try "/quake/...mp3. But how it coresponding with mp_teamplay... =)

Sounds are playing and cab be heared by anyone on the server with those settings. The tricky part is that non of the events are shown in the chat to no one. For example: multikill sound is played but no text or firstblood sound but no chat text. The sounds without the text anncouncements are more or less useless if you want them for all on the server, if you are not in sight of the player who did the action you won't know why the sound is played.

This could be done, but there are two considerations.

1) This is just meant to emulate the sounds in Quake/UT at each streak level.

2) Only TF2 (and DODS?) have Domination and Revenge.
