Hello guys, I would like to ask you, if there is any possible and logic way how to check for player's resolution (for example 1920x1080) ? For example via MOTD using javascript / php? I'm really curious. Thank you for answers

Only if 100% on width and height actually works on the popup window and the player doesn't have motd windows disabled. Theres also a chance that if a player just recently changed their resolution then the popup window might show a different size than 100%

Can someone make script / plugin / whatever which will trigger hidden motd ( on the background) with some kind of "resolution getter page" and make a record of it in MYSQL database? ***WILLING TO PAY***

(and i dont care about people with disabled motd. they are not even able to play on my servers , so this is not my problem)

OR if someone helps me how to find a way to display CSGO HUD on all resolutions the same....

If someone is using the -no-browser launch option, there's no way of knowing.

Well the browser not loading the page would be a give away.

Aside from querying cl_disablehtmlmotd, I don't think there's any way to properly enforce an MOTD like this.

It's simple. Just kick players with cl_disablehtmlmotd 1.

And now think about it ---> If all players had cl_disablehtmlmotd 0 and did not have any -nobrowser in command line, is it somehow possible IN BACKGROUND detect player's resolution? I'm really interested in something like this

And i was saying that if you're already getting the resolution of the players screen the page not loading is a give away because the page would need to send a message back to the server relaying the resolution of the player. So if a message doesn't get relayed back to the server then you can assume their webpage motds are disabled.

-no-browser will disable the MOTD browser regardless of cl_disablehtmlmotd.
Regardless, what do you require the MOTD for?

Some gamemodes revolve around displaying a popup motd etc
