There not appear panels to interfere player movement in TF2, when generate nav file.

In Cs:s, progressbar panel "block" player buttons and bring up mouse cursor.
This stop player.
But can bypass by closing panel with alt+F4, but while nav file is generating, it will bring panel back more than once.
Updating showing progress status.

Thanks for sharing. Interesting thing to do with clients. Can be useful when loading something.

How do you figure out what the keyvalues should be? Are they listed in the res file as text? (Last time I looked in a .res file, I thought it just listed the formatting specifiers, i.e. %s1)

Edit: Never mind, I see you weren't kidding when you said it's in the source code... I see it in NavProgress.cpp in the hl2sdk.
