Testing with the above works.
The pipe bomb, at first, disappears. But if I pick up a molly or vile jar it's there in the alternate slot for multiple equipment. I have not tested for infinite first aid, defib, pills, or shots. The items I was concerned most about work in this combination. Thanks.

No, the recent update to L4D is what broke the functionality of many plugins. SDK Tools needs to be updated to support the new version of L4D, then the plugins will work again (or at least as long as they don't require any signatures they should work).

I tweaked a setting or 3 in the code and the scroll by and have your weapon change has been greatly diminished. Check this one out and remember I do not speak code on anything but a middle school level. Default config on this one is only the main and secondary weapons are enabled unless you tweak the plugins cfg file. Cheers!

So instead of making it so u have to pickup a primary first in order to use the slot properly, why not just give the play the same item he was carrying, remove pistol add pistol, theres gotta be a way to get it to work without having that hickup at the beginning, new players on a server dont know what to think. Also im not sure if anyone else has had this problem but so far im only using the secondary equipment slot and eveytime i go to switch, regardless of what mode, when i fire it always switches like im quick switching the slots, which pretty much makes it useless...

Come to find out it was another plugin conflict causing the glitching i was getting, I do like this plugin however its useless if it cant save slotted items during map transition, I see the codes in the .sp to do so, but it doesnt work for pistol/melee slots

It does save slot settings.
Simply grab ammo from the pile, choose mode from menu if you have it enabled and test.
If it don't you must have another issue conflicting

First, thank you for the plugin, works great for the players it is working for. I have the plugin on my server, but there are 2 players that play on a regular basis that are not able to pick up a second primary weapon. For 1 of them, they are able to pick one up after 1-2 maps into a campaign, the other is not able to pick up a secondary weapon at all. They are able to pick up a second item for all other slots, and all other players that I am aware of are able to pick up a second primary weapon. Since the secondary items usually carry over from 1 campaign to another, is there a database/file where the items are stored that can be cleared? I did a search and found only the .smx and .cfg files for the plugin.
