So i just got windows 7 ultimate 64bit (Had 32bit earlier) and now whenever i start cs in opengl it forces me to play in software mode (Video mode not supported the game will now run in software mode). Alright... so even before i installed 64bit i had this old graphics card...which means i still have it and opengl worked earlier with the same gcard i know i found a solution, now i can't remember it lol, i think it has to do something with "Properties/Target"... tried typing -gl didn't work gave me the same error. Can i like.. bypass, do something else than getting a new gcard lol?

Update your graphic card driver; I suggest you use Ma-Config.

how about giving more details about hardware?
I bet your grahpic ( <-- can't spell that word and not going to fix it, just leaving it here, hoping that it will bother someone ) driver is missing. If you install windows and before that you delete the old windows then it cleans everything. So yeah ... this is the reason why it worked before your window 7.

Just install drivers for your video card. You know model? If not: you can use HWiNFO.

Ma-Config redirects you to the latest driver by the brand.

sorry, but I don't know it, I always go the specific web site to search for drivers/updates etc. Even if some great brands suck: Encounrered some missing drivers cases for HP and Dell computers.
