Well I ported the ColorChat from xPaw DrMg and it gives these errors:

I tried doing this and it didn't work.

Here's my step by step:

Open Notepad, type all phrases with accents.
Encode Menu -> UTF 8 without BOM
(I noticed all the letters with accents or ç turned into symbols, just like they should)
Save
Place the txt on the \data\lang folder.

Anything I'm missing?

I also found something weird, if I just open the txt with all changes done and I just encode it to UTF 8 without BOM and close it, it doesn't ask me to save, like if I had not done anything.
Is this behaviour normal?
Shouldn't it keep the symbols after encoding and ask if I want to save the file?

You should save the file before in UTF-8 without BOM, you should not seed weird symbols just the accents like you have typed.
