Updated to 15.0726. New version is simply a switch to the transitional syntax, and to a newer version of the ddhoward_updater include. Also, the one of the default sounds have been updated; 4500d089_aaooga.mp3 is now 8795F01D_aaooga.mp3, and is a bit louder than its predecessor.

karthorns.smx in plugins folder
ddhoward_updater.inc in \scripting\include
sounds \sound\karthorns and they are on the fastdl

Why isnt this working for me. Ive put in over an hour and poured my heart out still nothing :'(

Any ideas? Very thankful for a response.

He just calls for medic. not specified a .txt. sm_honk does nothing. Other honk cvars respond and the plugin is listed as running. tried inactivating all other plugins still no luck. using these karts: https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?p=2217736

Go ahead and create a txt file, as the calling for medic means that either the plugin wasn't able to detect files in that folder, or sm_karthorns_enabled isn't set to 1.

I did not understand how to hook them and there was no example in the OP :'(
Do i name my sound.mp3 like 1_sound.mp3 for medic and 2_sound2.mp3 for thanks? I only want two different honks.

There is no way to make different voice commands do different specific honks. A voice command will always choose a random honk. Only the sm_honk command can play a specific honk.

Which voice commands make honk sounds can be set by adding up the values in the spoiler on the first page. For example, Medic is 1 and Thanks is 2, so to do both, you'd set sm_karthorns_voices to 3. If you want Medic, Thanks, and Incoming, you'd set the cvar to 259. Etc.
