Try it. If it doesn't work, file a bug.

In the past this game has removed interfaces that plugins rely on. It is the only game that did this. If that's still the case, it's unlikely we'll bother supporting it unless someone contributes a patch. If it gets more popular that might change, but for the past two years it's consistently had almost no players. So there's no time payoff for reverse engineering, unlike say L4D2.

I tested CSPromod 1.04 on my linux server and it's safe to say sourcemod loaded, but many things didn't work. Various crashes from plugins that I don't know if it fully supports. Commands like slap and slay did nothing as the mod doesn't support them. It's unfortunate but it doesn't work FULLY.

Just on a side note.

Kicking, banning, SourceBans, muting, various voting commands WORK.

Slaying, slapping, beacons, drugging, and all that other fun stuff...DOES NOT WORK.

Slaying, slapping, etc. won't work until there is gamedata for sdktools support (assuming the internal server functions they map to exist in CSP and work similar to other games). Feel free to file a bug.

Psychonic, i'm a developer of a currently released mod (Resistance and Liberation), would you mind explaining how to get signatures and offsets so I can get them for my game?

I wrote this tutorial a long time ago for finding offsets (its not perfect but it works in general)

As far as sigs, goodluck, its a much more difficult process that I dont have the time to try and explain.

Ahh... we don't have a linux binary yet.

Guess that won't be happening soon then.


....though I do have the source code, so could I do it that way instead?

The server crashes after a short period of time. If I disable metamod, it works great.

Luckily most of the functions needing sigs in sdktools have unique or almost-unique strings right in the functions.
