+ Use your v1 HTTP Resources Manager module - badloadf
+ Use your v2 HTTP Resources Manager module - Client have been crash when connect to server!

Please write again for new version of HLDS, we need this Askshine - for unlimit HLDS. Thank so much!

Only if someone could make a module to support ftp servers

eg. sv_downoadurl "ftp://username:password@host:port/cstrike/"

So, with HLDS newest, can you update for your plugins?

Thank so much!

A little bit late response maybe, but that has nothing to do with HTTP. FTP and HTTP are two different protocols, using two different methods of downloading files. I think there is already a FTP library around here which you can use for that.

Well, this works, actually.
Hm, its better to say "starts" not works.
So it starts nicely, i checked rm version, rm status and rm config... it could not find a few files, dont know why, the name and path is perfectly fine...

Anyway, it doesnt upload files to a client. Files are missing on client, and when i connect:
Sometimes - nothing happens, except console says: "Error: server failed to transmit file 'sound/weapons/blah_blah.wav'"
And sometimes - dproto bans a client for 120 minutes.

This is sad. I really stuck on this 512 precache limit problem, and i need a solution. Arkshine i hope you read this, and i hope you will fix this soon

P.S.: I just tried it on a different map, and it downloaded files. So it actually works, not stable but now i got a small chance to fix it down. Either way Arkshine god bless you and pls release new version!)

As it said ON THE FIRST POST, and OTHERS POSTS, this is NOT meant to solve the "512 precache limit" ; this IS NOT possible to change this limit. This module is about another limit. Basically this module is not for you.

Thanks for your reply.

You misunderstood me. I'm not looking to change this 512 limit. BUT i have a great collection of guns on my server. More guns = more sounds. And thats where i hit 512 problem.
As i noticed, your module uploaded file to a client, and my precache list was the same as before (487 files). So it sort of gets round this precache list. Thats exactly what i need.

Now the problem is stability, i tried it 10 times, and only once it worked properly and uploaded file to a client.

I suggest you don't use it for now, I've lost the source code for v2 I've posted in some post , and it would better I redo module from scratch, and checking if no change has been made in latest build.

Are you planning to redo that?
