The JSON is not generated, it's written as it stands now.
It was an easy way for me to store data in a repository that is both easy to re-write, read and still can be sent directly to clients and/or systems.

Would a JSON (or any other format?) file with shortnames as key and "real name" as value help? That would be really easy to generate.
