Whats the easiest way ( im a noob to mapping and edited etc. ) to edit models, or maps. Preferrably models, but whatever is easiest.

Like if you could please link me to that easy program download, that would be great.

Creating maps is done in Hammer (free).
Milkshape (not free) is used to make models. Actually I wonder if there was ever a free modelling software.
