Your friends have to connect on the public ip and you have to connect on your ipv4 ip (or just go on server browser and click on lan then you should find you server)

But if I can't see it only "INTERNET" servers, then... only I see it.

Connecting through my IPV4 IP works perfectly normal.
But shouldn't I be able to connect through my external ip too?
This is simply how I check if other people could, because they would obviously be connecting through my external ip. I also asked my friends to try, but it didn't work.
.

I don't know how come it is being ignored that my SRCDS tells me that the server is a LAN server even though it's sv_lan 0, look a few posts before, pls

"- Server is a lan server ( no heartbeat, no authentication, no non-class C addresses )" ---> This is the description of the console variable "sv_lan", me too I have this message if I don't put value when I write sv_lan. So your server is not in lan mode.

If you host your server on your computer (or a computer that is in the same network of you) then you have to connect on your IPV4 IP else if you host on a server hoster then you have to connect on the public ip
To check if people can join your server, look for in server browser internet section, if you found you server then players can join

Thanks for the quick reply!

Yes! I am hosting the server myself. so now after you told me that, I understand I shouldn't be able to use my external ip if i'm hosting it on the same network.

However, I didn't find it in the browser... is that normal?
I mean, it pops up on LAN section, not in "Internet" section, so...

I don't get it, why is it behaving like that when I have my ports open?
It also says in the cmd "Connection to Steam servers successful." so shouldn't I see it in the "Internet" too?

No luck, I even disabled my firewall and application control from kaspersky's anti-virus.
Nothing, ports are forwarded, (27015)
Btw "Heartbeat" does nothing if I type it in cmd, people said to use it, but... nothing happened.

Also, there was that link in that forum that lets us check if our server is showing up, actually, whenever I put my ip in that xml link, it said "Success" and read it successfully.
Weird right? as if the server was shown to everyone.

I mean, This:
http://api.steampowered.com/ISteamApps/GetServersAtAddress/v0001?addr=<SERVER IP HERE>&format=json
http://api.steampowered.com/ISteamApps/GetServersAtAddress/v0001?addr=<SERVER IP HERE>&format=xml

I put my IP there, and it showed me this. So weird!

The region is 255, what does that mean ?

On server browser, did you uncheck “has player in the server” ?

I don't know why it reads it as "255"
but no, I don't have it checked, it includes empty servers aswell.

It seems 255 is World Source

did you put the "Location" in "<All>" ?

because :

Please note:
  • If sv_region is set to a specific region (0 to 7) then the server will be listed if this region or "<All>" is selected in the Steam server browser's location filter.
  • If sv_region is set to anything else then the server will only be listed if "<All>" is selected in the Steam server browser's location filter.
