So im trying to make a menu that remains open after selection..

But hey, the devil had other plans and thought it would be a great idea to destroy the menus after selecting an item, regardless if the callback has a menu_destroy() call at the end or not ( very evil man )

He also had the idea to not be able to add text to a menu without items, so the of creating an empty menu went down the drain too

And another great idea, the callback function should be called when the menu opens
So you want to open a new menu on callback ? let me handle that for you, here, let's open your second menu every single god damn frame

So anyone has any idea how i can create a menu that remains open after selection, without using the old menu system ?

Looks like only HUD simulated menu can help there.

What if you re-open the menu on selection?

I don't see a problem here. Simply open the menu after you selected an item. I've done this many times.

Had dynamic menu, with items from other plugins, but somehow a miracle happened

Looks like the callback function is not usually called when the menu is displayed, i probably had something in the display function which was causing this, it was probably removed when i rewrote the menu

Thanks folks
