As title says MySQL stoped working.
all plugins that uses MySQL dont load and all plugins send the same error

Fatal error: mysqli error: [1045: Access denied for user 'DB_USER'@'xxxx:xxxx:xxxx:xxxx:xxx:xxxx:xxxx:xxx' (using password: YES)] in CONNECT(DB_HOST, '****', '****', DB_NAME) in /var/www/html/bans/includes/adodb/adodb-errorhandler.inc.php on line 79

I didnt changed anything. I checked all configs and nothing changed. i also created a complete new Database and a new user with all permissions but i get the same error.

Every server startet calling this error after the daily game server restarts.
Tomorrorw morning i try a root server restart.


Edit: I got a temp fix. I added % to the MySQL whitelist. the Serverip is still still in there too but didnt work anymore for unknown reasons

plugin cant reach ur mysql with following error [Access denied for user]
im sure you want to want PC 1[Game Server] connect to PC2[MySQL] ?

which machine you using for MySQL

Rented RootServer try to reach MySQL Database from rented Webspace Server.

It worket for years and suddenly stopt working.
And by setting the option to let pass everyone in MySQL ip whitelist everything works again but makes the whitelist useless.

set it to % work for you means

you dont have issue on firewall

you dont have issue on bind-address local

my guess is you put wrong ip in whitelist

try ask Rented RootServer whats the ip of the game server

my question:

-is rented rootserver with root control of ubuntu/windows terminal or just game config control
-is rented Webspace Server you have is control by phpmyadmin or machine terminal

"I" got the problem fixed.
it was not a wrong IP i got that ip for years in this list.
I wrote the Support of the MySQL Hoster.
One day later they wrote me "try again now" so i just removed the "%" and restartet the gameservers and everything works fine again. (btw on rootserver i have controll with Debian. i installed the gameserver by myself. and webspace just controll with phpmyadmin and to solve the problem i needed to "flush-hosts" but had not the permission to do this.)
