Dedicated Hidden:Source server [Linux]

Has anybody set up a dedicated server for Hidden:Source on Linux? I'm having terrible luck finding any information online.

The Source 2006 SDK Base Linux engine binaries were removed from Steam with the move from the Steam2 to the Steam3 (SteamPipe) content servers. They can still be found in various places but crash on modern systems due to bugs in the (very) old compiler used for them.

So you can't use a different version of source SDK server? (Eg Source 2013 SDK Dedicated Server, appid number 244310)

Short answer: no.

Long answer: not without having the mod's source code, painstakingly porting it to the newer engine base, and recompiling - and then also distributing the new binaries to players as well.
