So, I came up today with this completely crazy idea.
Creating a anti-cheat like aequitas for CS:S running under sourcemod.
It would force players to take a screenshot and upload them to the server (gameserver or another web server) randomly or let admins choose the suspicious player to take the screenshot.

Would this even be possible under sourcemod or as a standalone addon ?

This was a DREAM to me (and probably many more), in CS:S means.

back to the old PB days? You'd need to force the client to take a screenshot and then have an easy mechanism to upload the data and I doubt sprays would provide adequate resolution. Valve has blocked client-side commands, and taking a screenshot is handled client-side, so I don't believe this is possible without something like PB or Cheating-Death running on the gamer's PC.

I echo what databomb said. You'd have to force the client to take a screenshot, which you can't do normally. Then you'd have to upload it. Systems like PB already do this and cheats bypass it already.

Ofc this plugin wouldn't catch 100% of cheaters. But maybe most of them...

Valve patched the exploit that allowed taking screenshots on clients back in November.
Every source engine cheat hooks the screenshot call and disables rendering, so it's pointless anyway.
