Displaying FPS difference from stock nightvision to yours isn't too much to ask nor are more links about the matter.

Dual-core right?
What OS, video chip / driver if you don't mind me asking?

How could I possibly know what would someone's FPS be if they used regular nightvision goggles? Even if I could know, why would I put that information on players HUD? What the message would be something like: "If you used regular nightvision your FPS would be X but by using this one your FPS is Y"??? Why would players even care to know that information? All they care about is - if its dark and I can't see the blocks that I'm supposed to jump on I can turn the nightvision on and my FPS won't drop.

Okay listen. the lag that you have is simply because the iGPU(Integrated GPU) cannot handle dynamic lights. I used to play on a laptop with GMA and such. and always happened . the fix was to simply change cl_dynamic to 0. but nowadays that's not possible anymore. I'm not speaking crap here, I'm certain your FPS dips hard when a Hegrenade explodes in front of you.

Yeah, I guess this is because the game doesn't know how to utilize the new gpu/cpu power. like how it doesn't use more than 1 core.

Recommend update:

+Add option to toggle faster brightness by pressing N one for more light and one more time for max light.
+Add option save for next round because it resets back to normal.

The only change is no purchase required from original plugin. Too trivial. Update that thread instead.

He meant your suggestion is extremely bad as I explained before. He didn't say you don't know how to compile a plugin, he said you don't know how the compiler works.
MSG_* are defines and the compiler will replace them with their value during the preprocessing phase. This means the compiled file will not contain MSG_ONE_UNRELIABLE, it will contain 8.
