Yes, and maybe.
A kill will always equal a kill, points are set per-server, per-weapon, and therefore aren't a good base for stats per-class.
Also keep in mind the server traffic sending the data back and forth to the database.

I'm changing the webUI for the new items + weapons but can you tell me what the new names are for the new founditems?

For example:
#TF_Unique_Achievement_Laser_Pointer
#CI_Bar_A

Did you also made the weapons icons in photoshop? Can you make the new ones or do you have some photoshop batch set for creating them?

Can you PM me this?

I have a process to get the kill icons, its a pain so I'll just do it. Plus I most of the new weapons don't even have correct kill icons yet.

You can get the internal item names from your tf_english file. They are listed a bit after line #3000
