Don't see much use for it?
Its a plugin. Plugins provide additional functionality.

Heres the use, you can now make really cool looking fireworks!

this one lets people launch fireworks.. ok cool but no use

If you want to gauge plugins on that scale, more then 3/4 of the plugins here dont add anything of "value", as you say.

(with both the site's compiler and my own)

that's the error I get :S.

So... how do I fix it?

nm. fixed it (added the findentity command in engine_stocks)
