okay i have a strange problem here.
When i am playing and am alive and a message is displayed with the show_hud command, this message is just flash up and then is gone, no matter how long holdtime is set to. however(i just found this out) when i am dead and a hud message comes up it stays there for the whole, holdtime.
i have been having them problem for months now, and thought it was something wrong in the set_hud line. i even had holdtime up to 1000, and it was still just being flashed up.
anyone got any ideals on what might be wrong?
is it a bug in 0.16?
i am useing cs 1.5 on windows.

Maybe something is periodically displaying a hudmessage on the channel the command is using when you are alive. That could explain the flash....

so i would changed the "channel" in my set_hudmessage?
