Go to the directory where hlds_run is and use this command

screen -S cs ./hlds_run -game cstrike..and so on

Then to detach it press CTRL+A+D
Then you can quit putty

The next time you login putty, you can re attach the hlds on your screen using this command:

screen -r cs

Then detach it again before you quit putty.
