TF2 beta on Monday!!!

Just curious about how long it will take to get sm working with TF2. I know it's not an exact science, but just to have the basic admin functional would great.

SourceMod works with any SDK based mod that Metamod:Source works on.

Only the extended default functions provided by sdktools need per-mod support (and of course, many third party plugins are CS or mod specific in that regard).

OK, so more to the point, how long do you anticipate it will take to add metamod support for tf2?

There are only two cases:
1. TF2 is a mod based on the Source SDK and thus would work with Metamod out of the box.
2. ??? It's something completely mysterious at which point it's silly to give time estimates when we don't even know that much.

Pick which one you like more ;) the cases where MM:S breaks from an update or a new mod are increasingly and very rare.

I am buying it today

According to wikipedia, there will be a lot of new effects will come with EP2, such as:
-Large/Far object handling
-Motion blur and depth of field
-New particle system
-Start to use Dual/Quad cores properly
-Better flash light

I just hope EP2 will not be as short as EP1

but can't did it complete: not all dirs exist after download via hldsupdatetool
