I'm just using "maps <prefix>" command in console.

Nice plugin, but has two things what I do not like:
1. You scan all maps in the same time - server can lag for one second during that scan if you have many maps.
2. New menu system has standard menu register bug (I reported it, but who cares... when you press 6 in the menu you can buy awp or message "taking fire - need asistance!" [it's random and depends on how many plugins with new menu system are installed, so uploading the plugin wont help]. But does anyone listen...).

big i lulz at :/

@1 - nope it wont lag the server. "maps <prefix>" does because maps prefix is searching through your maps folder live, while the server is running. this plugin is caching all maps while the map is loading which needs less than 1 sec. when the menu is created no lags can occure... i even tested it with 2.5k maps and had no lag.

@2 - never heared of that, nobody reported it yet except for you so i guess its some special numb-bug there are tons of plugins which use the new menu system and nobody reported a bug so far.

please prove both cases, especially case1...

ok...

1. You can read maps folder intstantly. It wont lag at all. But when you put information in rams. It takes power. How many maps you have? I have 1128 on my lan. When I write so many map names in cellarray it lags me for 3 seconds (as if cs crashed). Try it when you are in game and make some "say /test" command - you will see that cs as if crashes for one 3 seconds.

2. Cs registers some menus itself. Buy menus, radio menus, team change menus. Oldsystem menus starts menu registering after those ones. So oldmenu system doesn't write menu indexes on indexes what already exist. When newmenu system starts menuid countdown from 0, so they have bugs with standard/oldsystem menus.

1. im caching the maps in plugin_cfg() and just do a loop through the whole array on /mapfind. that reading is fast enough to do not lag the server. i personally have more than 2k maps and had not a single lag.
2. thats at least your theory

1. In plugin_cfg it can lag like a hell... You should make a set_task in it...

2. Only new menu system. And that's not a theory. Why you think I never use new menu system?
