JayHaxor, your friend in New York can't get it for another hour. No company can hand out pre-ordered games/console until 12:01am local time. Either Wal-Mart or Target found that out the hard way.

Anyways, my brother is getting it, meaning I have to actually pick it up (mature game, GameStop won't give it to people under the age of 17 xD ). But, our parents are only allowing him to get it tonight because he will not be skipping school because of it. He has about 2 hours until he has it in his hands. My dad is up there with him right now, I am going to take his place in like 30 minutes. I hate these midnight lines for games, they are so stupid. Just preorder it and pick it up within 48 hours of release, so much easier.

What kinda idiotic rule is that?? GameStop can't tell how mature you are. I played Half-Life when I was 6 and Halo when I was 9, and I didn't run to mom crying everytime I died.

Yea, but you aren't exactly a shining pinnacle of society either. GameStop can make their own rules. They follow the ESRB rating system.

It ain't idiotic. Companies are not supposed to sell games to people under the age limit set by the ESRB rating. Most companies do that. Well, at least with M rated games
