Sorry for being so ...
But, yeah the owner of that server don't even know A, B, C of Metamod and how can we except him to modify it's binaries?

There should be builtin HL1 game settings which allow server to change client's settings without any mods (like meta, amx, amxx, adminmod etc).

I'll research on it and will reply back. Thanks for the replies guys.

Edit: http://forums.steampowered.com/forum...d.php?t=368391 (Something like that for HLDS) Though that one is for event script.

// clientmeta <yes/no>
// Setting to disable or enable Metamod's client commands ('meta list' and
// 'meta version')
// Extra setting for Metamod+All-Mod-Support Patch.
// Default is "yes".
// Overridden by: +localinfo mm_clientmeta <yes/no>
// Examples:
//
// clientmeta yes
clientmeta no

with this you can disable metamod command for clients. you just need to put this in config.ini next to plugins.ini (metamod plugins.ini). if you don`t have a config.ini, make one and restart the server.
edit: works with metamod -p
he is using a plugin which executes command like this client_cmd(id,"rate 30000;fps_max 125;cl_updaterate 20")

Exactly. I found out that they changed my settings using HLGuard.

Yes, many servers do this. Even HLGuard changes brightness and gamma if the config.cfg is not read only.

even many servers bounds to download some custom images and GameMenu entries. Im also looking forward to the ans. If found something will post here.

And the most common thing is binding custom say to F1, F2 by lots of servers.

Last night I heard from 8088 that it's possible, he referred someone to a thread where it was stated that with developer 1 command you can even write a read-only file.
