It will need a special type of wrapper page that sets the volume from a get request, sent from Radio for example. Quite similar to how the current wrapper page functionality is right now with setting the stream URL and volume.

Can see the documentation for it here - I just need to implement that into a wrapper page that would take the YT video ID and volume as a get request.

That sets the volume based on the sent value and plays the video based on the YouTube video ID.

Got an update for Radio with updated translations and couple of small bug fixes.

v2.0.0.14
- Modified cl_disablehtmlmotd checking code, to only message clients when It's set to 1 (Was messaging clients when cVar wasn't found too)
- Added the latest MOTD Fixer v1.06
- Russian translations updated - Thanks to MihaAndTema
- German translations updated - Thanks to Warja Wachen
- Changed the config files to use "Volume Wrappers Base URL" for the volume wrappers

YouTube volume control is planned for the next update *hopefully*. It will require code restructuring, which will take some time to complete.

Quick update about YouTube support inside Radio.

Decided that it's best to not add full YouTube support but creating a seperate plugin with support for playlists etc.

This is going to take a bit time to complete with getting the hang of SQL usage inside SourceMod and the initial codebase required to get the functionality that I'm after. Only one potential downside is video durations will need to be added by users (or admins, depending on cVar option) and and create an internal video database - This is not final just yet and might be done with the YouTube API itself and running an external script to query. This is essential for rotating videos inside playlists, so the plugin knows how long each song is.

I'm hoping for a public release by the start of December, which gives me around 2 weeks to test and potentially change any design ideas.

Radio Package updated:
I've updated the base Radio download package to include the latest MOTD Fixer v1.07.

Hosting change:
Will be moving away from krystal.co.uk by the end of this month, because of problems trying to update the ShoutCast internal database, and the job on a shared hosting environment isn't really viable. It takes a long time to process, especially when the stations per sub-genre are set quite high (On current hosting, anything over 10 seems to time out, which is understandable on a shared hosting environment).

Going to be moving back to an OVH VPS after this weekend.

This isnt really working very well. Everytime I try to switch station it just starts playing the previous one. I cant even turn it off via the menu.

Is anything coming up in the server logs? It sounds like the old issue MOTD Fixer was meant to address - Thinking the CS:GO update might have changed something again.

Can have a look into this tomorrow, was just checking the forums before going to bed.

I actually got it to work now when im hosting my own MOTD files etc. Not sure why.

Good that you got it sorted, downside is it could be something related to my hosting.

Will run some tests after the hosting switching later tonight, see how the script is functioning then. Going to be wiping the MOTD Fixer database too.

So everyone will need to make sure they're running the latest v1.07 to auto-register, or at least get a notification about an invalid server token. Which can be found here or in the base Radio download package.

Quick update about the current website downtime.

Everything should be working again within the next couple of hours, currently waiting for the DNS to migrate over to VPS and then the I'll need to renew the Lets Encrypt certificates. Which should hopefully all be complete by 9pm UK time - If everything goes as intended, which usually never does in I.T. xD.

Edit:
Migration should be complete now - Still need to give it time and see if any errors pop up.

Is anyone having issues with the latest TF2/Steam update?

Had one report of someone having problems after the latest update to TF2 or Steam.

Got another method I could add to Radio for loading MOTD stations without the use of MOTD Fixer.

Hello,

since there are other motd fixes now it would be nice to have a cvar to disable the error for the missing motd fix. It's a simple patch but if you have a github I can make a pull request to add it as well.

I'm aware that removing the translations can work around it but then it just prints an empty line.
